Their journey

Milo was found wandering near a county road, thin and hesitant to approach anyone. Carroll County Animal Shelter took him in and reached out to PALS Animal Alliance for foster support while he regained his strength.

In his foster home, Milo spent the first few days simply observing from a safe distance. Slowly, with consistent meals, a quiet routine, and a foster parent who let him set the pace, he began to relax.

Within a few weeks, Milo was greeting his foster family at the door, learning basic commands, and even making friends with the resident cat. His transformation gave the shelter a clear picture of his true personality — playful, gentle, and loyal.

Milo was adopted by a family in Carrollton who had been looking for a calm companion for their two children. Reports since his adoption describe a dog who loves porch naps and evening walks.
